Eman Joharjy Biography
Born in Riyadh, Eman had her university degree in Business Administration and started
her professional life in accounting.
A few years down the line she realized that the available Abayas at that time was not fulfilling her needs as an active professional working woman.
Using her hobby and passion for fashion, Eman started designing and executing her own
Abayas.
She was targetng: Practcalit, Comfort, Flexibilit, Trend and qualit. So in 2007 we saw the birth the first Sport Abaya ever.
In 2008 she created her own company: Eman Joharjy Fashion.
Her love for traveling, exploring, and understanding different cultures led her to search for very specific materials and compositions to use Organic cotton and silk Breathable fabrics, Ant-Mosquit fabrics, Anti-Ultra Violet etc…. become the quality signature in al her creations.
Eman started supplying Abayas with different sports associations (Bliss Runners – Hiking Group – Via Ferrata – Aciton Mania etc….) and exhibiting in al major regional fairs (Bisat’errih – Ataya AbuDhabi – Dakakeen – Souk etc…).
Her creativity, originality, and support for Saudi women’s empowerment made all international media and news seek her input.
In the last years, Eman released several interviews on the subject on BBC, NHK, CNN, Reuters, CBS, Denmark TV, News4 Europe, Diario Spanish News, Vice Arabia, Vogue Arabia, Die Tagezeitung, Saudi Gazete, Destination etc…
Her new collection can be found through different distributors such as KORE in Riyadh, Abraj Avenue in Makkah and Ana Ghaer in Jeddah.
Eman is now based in Jeddah from where she runs her creative business
